Comprehensive Care for Horse and Rider

Prevention as the key to better performance and health.

At Core Equine® we believe that every detail matters and everything is connected. Our approach spans from treating the horse’s musculoskeletal system and optimizing biomechanics to supporting correct rider posture.

The Mission of Core Equine®

Core Equine® was born from the need to connect bodywork for horses and riders, training principles, and injury prevention.
Our mission is to create an integrated, interconnected system of care and training that respects the individuality of each horse and rider. Their physical build, current capabilities, and long-term potential.

We believe that true progress can only happen when we stop looking at problems in isolation and start understanding the horse’s body as a complex whole. Closely linked with the rider, tack, and training methods.

That’s why we combine deep biomechanical understanding with therapeutic techniques, functional movement analysis, and practical training solutions. We don’t follow a one-size-fits-all template. Every treatment session is tailored individually just like the follow-up exercises and training plans.

Our goal is to offer a meaningful program that addresses root causes, not just symptoms.
A program that’s accessible to anyone who truly cares about their horse.

Meet the Face Behind Core Equine®

CEMT Zuzana Kořenková first sat on a horse in 1985 and horses have been part of her life ever since.

She is a graduate of the Veterinary Medical School in Bratislava, a Certified Equine Massage Therapist (CEMT), and a Professional member of the International Association of Animal Massage & Bodywork / Association of Canine Water Therapy (IAAMB/ACWT).

Her riding journey began in Slovakia with vaulting, continued through racing and show jumping stables, and ultimately led her to dressage. She has trained under coaches in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and the USA. These experiences opened the door to a deeper understanding of equine biomechanics and the close relationship between quality of movement, athletic performance, and overall health.

Years of frustration with the common practice of only addressing injuries after they appear — pain, soft tissue trauma, overuse — rather than preventing them in the first place, led to the creation of Core Equine®. A system that merges equine bodywork, biomechanical awareness, and functional training into one cohesive, meaningful whole.
